Week #21 - Wrong 2 Strong "2 Minute Devotional" w/ Cisco Terrazas
Welcome to the "Wrong To Strong" 2-Minute Devotional. This week Wrong To Strong's own Cisco Terrazas leads us in a devotional emphasizing God's closeness to the brokenhearted and His power to heal past traumas. He recounts two testimonies of individuals who, despite their changed circumstances as adults, still carry emotional wounds from their youth. Cisco encourages people to recognize how God uses their current environments and people to aid in healing, drawing connections to biblical verses like Matthew 19:14 and Joel 2:25. He affirms that those dealing with pain and hurt are not alone, urging them to hold onto faith and hope in Jesus Christ for restoration and blessings.

Welcome to the wrong too strong, two minute devotional each week. We're blessed to have a new guest share a powerful scripture and a word of encouragement to ignite your spirit and fuel your journey of faith. Let these messages inspire and strengthen you as you grow closer to God and embrace the transformation he has for you. Stay strong, keep the faith and let's grow together. We're on a mission from God from darkness to light. And from Wrong To Strong. What's up, my brothers and sisters in Christ. This is Cisco Terrazas coming to you for another wrong to strong two minute devotional. I'd like to share with you the following verse, Psalm 34:18. The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Just recently I heard two stories slash testimonies that brought me to this Psalm verse. These two stories are very similar since they deal with past trauma. When these two individuals were young. We've all grown up in different families and neighborhoods and situations where we may not have had control over our circumstances. These testimonies I heard were detailed on how these individuals grew up and what they experienced as they were young. Now as adults, the circumstances and environment have changed, but the pain and hurt is still there. As we grow up and walk closely with God, we tend to miss certain things around us, like people and environments that God is now using to help you relate with your past circumstances. God has compassion and care for the broken hearted. He draws near to those who are emotionally wounded offering presence and rescue. What we would think that certain things should be common sense, but they don't seem that way when they are right under our nose and the enemy uses that against us to blind us from what God is trying to present to you. When God uses someone around you to provide you with guidance, you tend to see things in a whole different perspective. What you ultimate see now is what you were missing when you were young and dealing with the pain and the hurt. Jesus cares for the children. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, let the little children come to me and do not hinder them. For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs such as these. Jesus honors and welcomes children affirming the value and dignity. God is a restorer of broken lives. Like in Joel 2:25, I will pay you for the years that Locus have eaten. Though this verse was originally about Israel's restoration, this verse reflects God's heart to redeem, lost time and brokenness. These testimonies touch my heart in ways I cannot explain. If you deal with pain and hurt due to your upbringing, you're not alone. Many of us are brokenhearted and need God's help to restore us. Trust and believe when you hold onto hope and believe in the Savior of Jesus Christ. That God will use your surroundings and turn them into blessings. I hope someone receives this message. Thank you guys. I'm Cisco Terrazas and I am wrong to strong.
