Omar Calvillo grew up on the southwest side of Chicago in a historical community called Pilsen. He was involved with gangs and drugs, and served three years in prison. He has been serving Jesus since October of 2004 when he experienced a life changing radical transformation through the power of Christ.
He has been happily married to his wife Ann since 2005, and together, they have three children. He is currently the host of this podcast, on which he shares testimonials of hope and redemption, which point people to Christ. He is part of the elder team at New Life Community Church Cicero. He also serves in a Bible study group tailored to the men currently in custody in Cook County jail through a ministry called "Koinonia House."
