Welcome to the wrong too strong, two minute devotional each week. We're blessed to have a new guest share a powerful scripture and a word of encouragement to ignite your spirit and fuel your journey of faith. Let these messages inspire and strengthen you as you grow closer to God and embrace the transformation he has for you. Stay strong, keep the faith and let's grow together. We're on a mission from God from darkness to light. And from Wrong To Strong. Hi, my name is Aisha Mercado, and this is the Wrong To Strong two minute devotional. Today I'll be reading from Matthew chapter 11, verse 28 and 29, and it reads, Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. In this verse, Jesus is calling us to leave our anxieties and our problems at His feet. And so what that means is to pray about it, and leave it there and know that God is in control. He knows our future and, He will take care of it. And He will get us through it and that should bring us peace. This also shows how Jesus is calling us into relationship with Him and in any relationship, whether it's with our spouse, our children, our family, we speak to people that we love daily. And if we don't speak to them for a couple of days or even a week goes by, we miss them. We wonder how they're doing, if they're doing okay. Similarly, Jesus calls for the same type of relationship with even deeper. He wants to know the nuances of our day. In the beginning of my day, one of the first things that I do is I pray and I have that dialogue with God. I lay my burdens at his feet. That resets me that sets me up for the day. And when I miss that time with God, I feel off, I feel like I haven't spoken to the person that I love the most. And so I don't feel better until I have that time with God. And I encourage all of you to have that time and to have that relationship with Jesus. He loves us. He wants to hear from us daily all throughout the day. We're not a burden to Him. I hope that this verse blessed you. My name is Aisha Mercado and I am Wrong To Strong.
