Wrong To Strong - Chicago

Week #8 - Wrong 2 Strong "2 Minute Devotional" w/ Greg Wood

Greg Wood

Welcome back to the "Wrong To Strong" 2-Minute Devotionals. Thank you for joining us this week as our brother Greg Wood highlights Romans 8:28, which emphasizes that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. Greg uses the analogy of Kool-Aid, explaining that just as the drink's components (Kool-Aid mix, sugar, and water) taste better together than separately, God combines the good, the bad, and His presence in our lives to work for our benefit. He concludes by encouraging us to embrace a life with Jesus for positive outcomes.

Let these messages inspire and strengthen you as you grow closer to God and embrace the transformation he has for you. Stay strong, keep the faith and let's grow together. We're on a mission from God from darkness to light. And from Wrong To Strong. Hi, I'm Greg Wood. Welcome to the Wrong to Strong Two Minute Devotional. Today I'll be speaking to you from the verse Romans 8 and 28 and it says, And we know that in all things God works together for the good of them that love him and them that are called according to his purpose. I get excited every time I think about this verse because it gives me confidence to know that God is going to work everything together for my good. I like to look at it like this. The drink Kool Aid, is made up of 3 main ingredients. It's made up of the Kool Aid. And if you taste it by itself, it can be very bitter. That can symbolize the bad times or the bad things in life. It's also made up of sugar. And if you taste it by itself, it can be very sweet and that can represent the good things or the good times in life. But the third ingredient, i s probably the most important ingredient and that is the water that can symbolize the Word of God, Jesus, or God himself. Now, if you taste all those things individually, it probably won't taste as good as it does when it's mixed together. And so, what God can do in our life and what He wants to do in our life is He wants to take the bad times, He wants to take the good times and Himself and mix it all together and work it together for our good. That's what this verse is telling us. That if we do life with Jesus, if we love Him, if we are allowing Him to call us out of darkness into his son, Jesus Christ, this marvelous light. Then everything is going to work out for our good. I'm Greg Wood and I am wrong to strong
