Welcome to the wrong too strong, two minute devotional each week. We're blessed to have a new guest share a powerful scripture and a word of encouragement to ignite your spirit and fuel your journey of faith. Let these messages inspire and strengthen you as you grow closer to God and embrace the transformation he has for you. Stay strong, keep the faith and let's grow together. We're on a mission from God from darkness to light. And from Wrong to strong. Good morning, everyone. Welcome to our Wrong to Strong two minute devotional. My name is Sean Rae. I'm the pastor over here at Wrong To Strong and the verse I'm going to share with you this morning is Isaiah 1 18 says, Come now and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red like crimson, they shall be as well. So in this verse, the Lord is teaching about the power of His atonement. The snow is a metaphor for purity and cleansing. In the ancient Near East, snow was a rare and beautiful sight, symbolizing a fresh start in the possibility of transformation. So in context, the verse portrays God extending an invitation to the people of Judah to repent and be cleansed of their sins, emphasizing God's grace and forgiveness. Today, we understand this verse as a foreshadowing of Christ's forgiveness due to His ultimate sacrifice that was on the cross. The debt was paid so that we may be saved. The possibility of new life and transformation has been extended to us all, if we are willing to accept it and receive it. Jesus calls us to repent for our sins and be forgiven and cleansed from all of our unrighteousness. Allow God's grace to wash you white as snow. Freedom in Christ is the greatest gift we could ever receive, and His love for us could never be matched by any other. I'll never forget the day I encountered God's great love for my life. It changed me forever, and I didn't care what anybody thought. All my life, all I was looking for was just to be accepted. I just wanted a family and just people around me to love me. I sought gangs ended up doing drugs in and out of prisons and institutions until finally I reached an abandoned building where I had a needle stuck in my arm and I cried out to Jesus. I said, if you're real, if you're the God that my grandmother always said that you are, then you'll change my life today. And boy, did He change my life forever. Two days later, He sent me on the journey that I'm now on today. And that was 10 years ago. So if you want a new life, I ask you, and I extend an invitation for you to repent, be baptized in the name of the father, son, and the Holy spirit, and be cleansed from all of your unrighteousness. If that's you just ask Jesus to come into your life and make you a new creation in Him. God bless you guys. I love you. Most importantly, God loves you in Jesus name. Amen.
